About Stephen Hawke

Steve has been involved in Performing Arts for many years, initially inspired by Willy Russells Blood Brothers. Undertaking initial acting Training at Norwich's Theatre Royal (The Garage) and, further inspired by his creative teacher, aspirations of coaching and acting became apparent. Progressing through individual specialist courses in London and the South East through C.C.A.T.S Drama College in Essex, Steve now holds professional accreditation as both Actor & Drama teacher, and is currently working toward Licentiate Certification in Speech & Drama (FTCL) from the Trinity College London.
With agency representation for both Supporting Artiste (SA) & featured acting roles within Theatre, TV / Movie & commercial industries, acquaintances at the London Film School also call upon him for "short film" productions, often sponsored by the British Film Foundation. 

Steve has appeared in many TV commercials & popular Soaps and Dramas such as "Eastenders" - where he is fast becoming a regular face, & "The Bill", "Londons Burning, and "The Midsomer Murders" as well as new Productions of "Law & Order" (with Bradley Walsh), "Spooks" and "Missing" (Pauline Quirke) and Mainstream larger productions such as "Hope & Glory" (Lenny Henry as an ambitious Headteacher), & movies such as "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", "The Infidel" (with Omij Djarlili), "Maybe Baby" (directed by Ben Elton), "Sleepy Hollow" (with Johnny Depp.), 2009 Science Fiction movie Franklyn and British Comedy "Reuniting the Rubins" (Timothy Spall, James Callis & Honor Blackman). Steve is curently appearing in BT Sport commercials and Government Alcohol awareness campaign "Know your Limits".
Steve was a member of "Angel in Pockets Productions" (A professional, Multi-media production company based in Essex) where he debuted in an original drama "Dead Cargo" as TV/News anchorman, Malcolm Headley

Steve is a teacher at Eastwood Theatre School / Kings performing Arts College in in Southend, where he teaches Trinity Guildhall Curriculum to the Gifted and Talented in Performing Arts (Drama).
He is also proud Principal of The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts in Chelmsford, Southend, Brentwood and Wickford, where he was recently awarded the "Best New Business in Essex" award at the Towngate Theatre in Basildon.
With enhanced CRB registration spanning many years Steve has also recently applied to be a professional Chaperone for young professional performers around the UK.
